Mama Mia! How can I resist you?

It’s been a mad rush in the Tartan Twist offices of late, dispatching orders, finalising new collections and organising things for a very exciting event in the autumn of which more later, So we are especially delighted to welcome Abi Knight to the Tartan Twist team to help with marketing and publicity.

We’re also thinking about Mother’s Day on March 14. With six children between us, we know there is no present quite like the hand-made card, the not-quite-set home-made fudge or the wobbly drawing. Gillian’s are kept for posterity in “mummy’s special box”. (Not the fudge, obviously). But with mothers rushing around for the rest of the year - organising birthdays Christmas, Easter hunts and holiday treats - Mother’s Day is the only day when Mums have a real chance to be pampered.

We have chosen some of our favourite pieces from the Tartan Twist collections for Mother’s Day. Eminently affordably, they are guaranteed to charm and delight. Our Gardening bracelet and earrings from the Charm Collection are perfect for mothers who nurture. The little pewter gardening charms are interspersed with acorns from which, as we all know, mighty oaks grow.

Our Teapot bracelet combines real freshwater pearls with little handmade teapots, each unique. This is a lovely vintage piece which is a real treasure. Team it with the sweetest little freshwater pearl teapot earrings for a truly charming look.
Our sterling silver Lucky Bag is a wonderful amethyst-encrusted bag which opens up and which will never go out of fashion. Each Lucky Bag contains a little prediction or a personalised message. For a special Mother’s Day message, type “Mother’s Day” in the comment box at the checkout. Lucky bags are hallmarked by the Edinburgh Assay Office with the special Tartan Twist hallmark.

Use our free gift service to send a personal, hand-written message with our jewellery. Just type your message in the comment box at the checkout and we will send the pieces of your choice in a beautiful gift box, enveloped in clouds of pink tissue paper with a handwritten card. It could be her happiest Mother’s Day yet.

Love from

Gillian and Lyndsey
